To run simulator first lunch Instrument Service Manager
Then run Instrument Configuration software. Add Instrument, then modules. Use primary Vanquish type of Modules. For Solvent Valves - Valco
Set all modules to simulation mode in Module Settings. Initially add Quatanary pump, AutoSampler, ColumnCompartment and DAD
Test connecting and controlling modules from Chromeleon (difference from Agilent ICF is that with this software you have all data processing available as well)

Document carefully “Script Editor” when opening ready Instrument Method this is how GUI is translated into commands that also ChomSword sends to instrument

Execute injection sequence with 2 runs, Injections contain Instrument method and Processing method. You add multiple injections to Queue and then execute it. Later verify results in Data section of Chormeleon

Then repeat same procedure using ChromSword InstrumentThermo**, but this time we do not use Processing Method, but instead integrate using chromsword itself.
Document and look carefully in Audit trail (it shows all actions that are sent to instrument). Results of chromatograms will be stored both in CSA RTPX and in Chromeleon. Notice that it will take up to 1min for data to show up in CSA, but it will be visible in Chromeleon immediately, because we read data from Chromeleon data vault which is not updated in real-time.
Create more instrument configurations and test acquiring 2 runs using ChromSword
